出版

Ludovic Rodo Pissarro & Lionello Venturi, Camille Pissarro: Son art—son oeuvre, vol. I, Paris, 1939, no. 1324; vol. II, no. 1324, illustrated pl. 260

Condition

Executed on cream wove paper. The sheet is hinged to a window mat at two places along the top edge. The left edge of the sheet is deckled. Inscribed 'gouache no 1324 L. Rodo Pissarro' and stamped 'Ludovic Rodo 14, rue girardon Paris (XVIII)' by another hand on the verso. A horizontal crease runs 1cm above the lower edge of the sheet, across its entire width. There is extremely minor craquelure present at two places: the first in the gray pigment in the lower left quadrant; the second to the beige pigment at center. The lower left and right corners of the verso have adhesive residue, likely from a previous mounting. The sheet is very lightly time-stained. The work is in overall very good condition.
