The work is in very good condition. Executed on linocut. The work is hinged to a mount in all four corners. There are several spots of skinning in the paper, inherent to the medium and the artist's process.

In 1962, Picasso executed a series of lithographs based on a series of Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres’ family group portraits (see fig. 1).
