This work is in good condition. The canvas is not lined. There is a discoloured varnish, which would benefit from a clean, and some frame rubbing to the extreme edges. UV light examination reveals a diagonal line of retouching (approx. 6cm long) from the centre of the left edge and a network of in-fills to the boat and harbour. There is some further retouching in places including to the edges. There are fine lines of paint shrinkage throughout, most notably to the lower part of the composition, and some craquelure in places.
