The present Daytona, is known as the "Jumbo Logo Daytona", an early example of reference 6239. During the beginning of the Dayton's production, the brand experimented with various dial configurations. 

The earliest reference 6239's featured a small Daytona signature below the "Rolex Cosmograph" text however, Rolex also introduced a different dial which featured a slightly larger "Daytona" text, such as the present watch.  

This Daytona is preserved in excellent condition. Featuring full proportions to the lugs and the case itself is incredibly well preserved. The bezel, calibrated to 300 units, is correct for early examples, having been kept in excellent condition with all enamel present. The dial is also in wonderful condition featuring luminous that has aged with light patina, matching the original hands. Overall, a highly charismatic and original example.
