with a red, grey and white marble top, opening by three drawers, the edges with a female and a soldier figures, leaves and shredded shells
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate but the commode is less orange in reality. Good overall condition despite the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are some minor restorations to the veneer as expected and to the inside of the upper right hand side drawer. The impressive gilt-bronze mounts have been re-varnished. The marble top is in good overall condition with minute surface scratches, and is probably later. Beautiful mounts with a very nice design. Ready to display.
