The Hebrew inscription reads: "They hallowed the courts. They made also new holy vessels" (I Macc. 4:48-49). A similar lamp is in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, accession no. 2013.940, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Collection. That example is signed Bezalel and Yemini.
