Arnoldus van Geffen (1728-1769), whose mark is a hunting horn, as seen in Citreon, Amsterdam Silversmiths and their Marks, no. 1119, was a specialist maker of miniatures. Many of his works can be found in A. Aardewerk, Tall and Small Antique Dutch Silver Miniatures. A six light chandelier circa 1730 is shown no. 50 p. 48 and a pair of candlesticks 1741 no. 80 p. 54.
