Overall excellent condition, consistent with age. A rare example executed in gold-plated stainless steel, the spray possesses a beautiful shimmering quality to the rods, which is difficult to convey in the catalogue illustration. The gold plating has largely rubbed off on the surface of the base plate however. Some minor oxidation at base, as is is common with age. The underside with four applied felt feet and an old sticker. A beautifully proportioned spray sculpture, the work is an iconic Bertoia model that presents well overall.
