Condition

Overall in very good, original condition. The wood is in very good condition having been meticulously cared for since the date of acquisition from the Kagan studio in 1965. There are minor nicks, rubbing and faint scratches throughout, largely located to the lower legs, consistent with age and gentle use. The leather is original with some minor settling near the lower back rest area, consistent with age and gentle use. There are scattered minor scuffs, nicks and rubbing to the leather, typical with age, but in general remains in exceptional period condition. A form overtly characteristic of Kagan designs, it has dynamic curves executed in a sumptuous walnut and leather and presents very well overall.
