Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces throughout with minor scattered scuffs, scratches and light surface wear. The reverse side of the back rest with scattered minor spotting near the center. The bottom proper left edge of the back rest with a few minor areas of veneer which have been professionally and sensitively repaired, not visually disruptive. The bottom proper right edge of the back rest with an area of veneer which has been professionally and sensitively repaired, measuring approximately 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 in. (visible in the catalogue illustration). The lower right proper edge with a loss measuring approximately 2 x ¼ inches, partially visible in the catalogue illustration. The bottom of the front foot with a minor loss measuring approximately 1/4 in x 1/4in. The bottom of the proper right edge of the base with minor areas of infill. The upholstery appears to be original and presents with minor scattered stains to the seat. A superb example of Wright’s modernist furniture designs with strong graphic and visual presence.
