Condition

Overall in very good condition. The pewter surfaces with very fine minor surface scratches and some minor tarnishing consistent with age and gentle handling. The lower proper left circular enameled detail and immediate surrounding area with areas of professional and sensitive resoldering, visible in the catalogue illustration. Traces of polished residue to the recessed areas throughout. The central panels with very faint decorative hammering to the metal surface. The minute hand is presently not included and will be replaced at Sotheby's expense. One key is provided. Functionality of the movement is not guaranteed and it could need service at the buyer's discretion. An elegant architectural form by the artist.
