A meticulous chronicle of shooting in India and the Himalayas, accompanied by skillful photography. Observing the habits of the ram, Gordon writes: "Females are much less shy than males (this is not confined to the four-legged species only!) and keep on much lower ground all the year round...One feels pretty sure that if one could get to the very high ground that one would probably get sport. but there is a limit to human power."
