Large 4to (13 1/16 x 11 in.; 332 x 280mm). Subscribers' list, 48 hand-colored plates (44 aquatint views by Havell, Stadler, Bluck and others after Pugin, Westall, Mackenzie, and others, 4 stipple and line engraved costume plates), plate 26 an early issue captioned with printed overslip; occasional offsetting, some foxing, heaviest to final leaves, generally not affecting plates. Full contemporary calf, covers with elaborate gilt border including greek key-pattern devices and inner single-ruled frame, all edges gilt, inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers; rebacked, rubbing to extremities, corners bumped.
