Full contemporary vellum, manuscript title to spine, top and bottom edges branded ("SF"); vellum stained, some wrinkling, remnants of ties, lower cover with closed tears and some loss.

A collection of Papal and legal documents relating to the Order of Friars Minor—a mendicant Catholic religious order, founded in 1209 by Francis of Assisi— with some reference to the New World. The collection also includes two items concerning a conflict between the bishop of Puebla and the archbishop of Mexico City.
