A superb floor globe depicting the routes of landmark explorations including Cook, Vancouver, and la Perouse.Cary was one of the foremost cartographers and publishers of the day; the present is the largest globe his firm offered and much more uncommon than their desk globes. The globe depicts Ross' exploration of the Northwest Passage and labels California as "New Albion" while recording the tracks of the major North Pacific explorers.
