Typescript journal accounts of sporting trips through Muskoka, Ontario, in 1880, 1882, 1884. The diarist chronicles the group's experiences with warmth and style, in one passage writing: "After fishing an hour in which Wiman caught an eight pound salmon trout, we all wended our way to camp, through a scene of beauty that nothing could excel. The lake was like a mirror, and the setting sun tinged it with a hue so deeply purple, as to be almost indescribable, the reflection of the woods in the water was marvellous."
