Chapman Sr.] with all good wishes, Sidney D. Waldon, July 1st, 1926", title-page printed in red and black, 7 photogravure plates from photographs by S.N. Leek, captioned tissue guards; small chip to portrait, some toning to leaves. Original full brown pebble morocco, boards bevelled and gilt-ruled, upper board with title and elk's head device in gilt, top edge gilt, brown satin doublures; rubbing to extremities with some loss to morocco, vertical scratch to cover.
