Condition
Overall very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich brown-green patina, with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, and a few very minor flakes to the patina consistent with age and gentle handling. With minor light traces of surface soiling and oxidation to the recessed contours of the design. The clear glass liner appears to be a later replacement, with scattered minor surface irregularities and air bubbles inherent in the making. A highly intricate and naturalistic form displaying superb casting quality. The scale of this inkstand is surprisingly small, imparting the piece with a highly refined and jewel-like presence.
