Overall very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich russet brown and green patina, with some occasional minor surface scratches and abrasions, and with some areas of wear to the patina, consistent with age and gentle handling. The brilliantly iridized jewel cabochons all appear original and undisturbed and present with some minor traces of light surface soiling to the recessed contours around each jewel. With a period bobeche shade fitter with some minor drips of wax residue. The shade is highly unusual, displaying a intricate wave decoration executed in a dramatic palette of deep sapphire, indigo, and emerald green and applied with golden iridescence. The glass is in very good condition with scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. A superb example displaying a dynamic and highly complementary shade and base pairing.
