Condition
Overall very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich brown-red patina, with some scattered surface scratches and abrasions, and with some light surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design, consistent with age and gentle use. The blown favrile glass ribbed shade is beautifully iridized and greatly enhances the sculptural presence of the candlestick. The favrile glass with some scattered minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. With a period bobeche; the bobeche receiver appears to be a later replacement. A gorgeous example of this complex candlestick design with a complementary and highly sculptural shade pairing.
