circular scalloped form with swirling borders and beaded rims, each centre engraved with a coat-of-arms, engraved scratch weights to undersides

The arms are those of Howard impaling Trevor for Henry Howard, 12th Earl of Suffolk and 5th Earl of Berkshire (1739-1779), who succeeded to the titles upon the death of his grandfather in 1757. His first wife, whom he married on 25 May 1764, was Mary Constantia, daughter of Robert Hampden Trevor, 1st Viscount Hampden. Lord Suffolk was sometime Lord Privy Seal and secretary of State for the North.

Condition

Clear marks to undersides. The central coats of arms fairly crisp, areas fairly scratched. Otherwise typical wear for age. Good overall condition.
