  • the tray 50.2cm., 19 3/4 in. long
octagonal pierced gallery tray bright-cut engraved and crested, four scroll branches each supporting an octagonal dish with a larger octagonal central dish similarly engraved twice with a coat-of-arms, with fourteen various sized silver-mounted glass bottles and jars, ten engraved with matching crest, the majority Fenton Creswick and Co., Sheffield, circa 1796, together with eight silver condiment labels variously inscribed, the underside of the base engraved with scratch weight

Condition

Main frame edge, collar of stand, main basket, the branches and small baskets all fully hallmarked. The four smallest caster bottles with unmarked covers, possibly later. One glass mustard pot with chip to upper section, two bottles with small chips to the bases. Otherwise good condition.
