after the painting by Sir Anthony van Dyck, wearing the order of the garter, signed F. Lapf./ Dresden, impressed sceptre over KPM mark, letter H, incised numerals 15-13, retailer's stamp mark in iron-red ERNST ARNOLD/ Kunst-Handlung/ DRESDEN/ Schloss strasße(?) Ecke der Sporergasse, with contemporary gilt-wood frame, 
the plaque approximately 39.3cm., 15 1/2 in. x 34.2cm., 13 1/2 in., overall 62cm., 24 3/8 in. x 55cm., 21 5/8 in.
