- 38cm., 15in. diameter
chased in mid-17th century Dutch style with the fables of the Fox and Stork and Wolf and Crane, fruit, shells, flowers interrupted by lobate ornament at the rim, reverses engraved, 35..5 pr, one with maker's mark of Thomas Powell, London, 1771, the other with Amsterdam town mark and date letter X, both with maker's mark TR struck several times
Condition
small area of repair, traces of decorative engraving under the embossed ornament of one, few little dents, English hallmarks visible on one only (wolf and crane), general condition pretty good.
