embossed with profile panels depicting three Caesars between ribbon-tied foliate garlands, the cover similar embossed with orb finial, beaded hollow scroll handle with bifurcated thumb-piece, on three orb feet, later engraved coat-of-arms
Condition
Clearly marked to cover and underside of base. Assay scrapes to both parts. A couple of small splits to the cover rim near the hinge junction. Gilding good. Overall condition good.
