circular, the bowl with stylised tulip strap-work and rope-twist handles, the flat-dome cover with rope-twist rim, similar strap-work and stylised entwined serpent handle, on a spreading circular foot with rope-twist girdle, engraved crests

Condition

Good clear marks to underside. The cover also fully rubbed, a bit rubbed, date letter partially lost. The crests probably later. The rope-twisting to the cover rim and girdle with a couple of small old silver solder repairs. Nice gauge. A little bright. Good for age.
