Condition

Relief, oil, wood, plaster and tinplate on wood panel. It has not been possible to see the work unframed. Examination under UV light reveals some small spots and lines of retouching, most predominately along the edges and to the most protruding elements of the painted wood element on the right, to the brown diagonal wooden element and a few further smaller dots and lines of retouching towards the edges of the rectangular wooden panel. There are vertical cracks and a few scuffs to the wooden panel, probably original. There is some abrasion with small paint losses to the edges of all elements, possibly original (as visible in the catalogue illustration). Metallic elements and nails are slightly rusty, possibly original. There is a light build-up of dust to the crevices. This work is in overall good condition.
