Condition

Assemblage consisting of a piece of bread, cardboard and three sheets of paper. All elements are affixed to a panel with wire, a round piece of felt and thin nails. Piece of bread: Good stable condition. Cardboard stick: There is some superficial dust. There are a few nicks and small creases consistent with the artist process. There is a small dot of discolouration to the upper part of the stick, possibly original. The cardboard appears to have light stained. Sheets of thin cream wove paper: Edges are deckled with small tears and nicks, possibly original. There is a dot of foxing to the middle sheet of paper. There are creases to the surface of all sheets of paper. The sheets are light stained. Wire: Slightly rusty in places. Plexiglass: There are a few superficial scratches and handling marks in places. The plexiglass is a bit dusty. Panel: There are some scattered superficial scratches in places, possibly original. This work is in overall good condition.
