Ornellaia 2008 Bolgheri, DOC54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. This is a wine made from extreme highs and lows of temperature. In 2015, a deeply aromatic, herb garden nose, with a very welcoming perfume to lure you in. There are flowers here too. Really silky-textured and brimming over with cassis berries.
