La Mondotte 2003 St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (B)There is a bit more Cabernet Franc than usual here that actually echoes the vineyard percentage (only the 1996 was a total Merlot wine). Warm, generous, welcoming nose. Lovely Christmas cake taste. So rich in the middle, with the dry-ish tannins of the year.
