Launching in 1954, the Rolex GMT-Master was the first wristwatch to display two different time-zones simultaneously and therefore became an instant success with pilots worldwide. In 1959 the reference 1675, replaced the previous reference 6542. The 1675 was in production until 1980, which is a very long run, portraying its success amongst professionals and private users alike.
This timepiece features the early black laquared tritium dial marked ‘T<25’ which beautifully aged over since its production around 1966.
