• gilt three-quarter plate movement, lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance, repeating on two polished steel gongs • engraved gold cuvette with inscription • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for day, date, month combined with leap year indication and subsidiary seconds with aperture for moon-phases, outer chronograph scale • finely engraved 18k yellow gold case, the cover with engraved initials • movement signed French, Royal Exchange, London, hallmarked London 1884, maker's mark L.W

Condition

The movement is fully wound and not running, also not repeating and the chronograph is not functioning. Dial in good condition. Heavily engraved case with some scuffs. Cover with engraved initials JP. The cuvette engraved 'Juan Pedro'. Movement numbered 23514, case 1528 The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping.
