EMERALD AND DIAMOND BRACELET, J.E. CALDWELL & CO.

Designed as a line of calibré-cut emeralds, set between two lines of old European-cut diamonds, length 7 inches, signed J.E.C & Co., numbered N9926; circa 1925.

In good condition, with minor scratches to the mounting commensurate with age and wear. Mounting tests as platinum. The inside circumference of the bracelet has been fitted with a later added fine chain. The emeralds are medium very slightly bluish green, overall they are moderately included, one with a eye-visible chip, several with smaller chips and abrasions visible under 10x magnification. The diamonds, weighing approximately 3.50 carats, are approximately H-I color, VS clarity. Clasp only closes securely with use of safety catch, and is additionally fitted with a safety chain. Band width approximately ⅜ inch.
