The shield-shaped clips ornamented with carved emeralds, sapphires and rubies, framed with old European-cut and baguette diamonds, signed JEC & Co, numbered M3789; circa 1930.

In very good condition, with signs of general wear to the mounting commensurate with age. Mounting tests as platinum, clip mechanisms tests as 18 karat (white) gold, carrier is white gold. Each clip is signed and numbered. The carrier is unsigned, but inscribed with the number 1. The emeralds are medium very slightly bluish green, heavily included. The sapphires are a medium blue, loupe clean. The rubies are medium slightly purplish red to red, loupe clean. The diamonds, weighing approximately 2.80 carats, are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Clip dimensions approximately 1 x ⅞ inch each. Double clip brooch length approximately 2⅛ inch.
