Set with an oval-shaped yellow sapphire weighing 100.62 carats, framed with round diamonds, on a necklace of openwork cloud-shaped links outlined in round yellow sapphires, length 16 inches, signed Cummings, four sapphires missing.

In good condition, with minor scratches to the mounting commensurate with wear, and four sapphires missing from the cloud shaped links, noticeable under close inspection. Signed ©1984 Cummings, referring to the date of manufacture, and stamped 18K for 18 karat gold. The oval-shaped yellow weighing 100.62 carats is medium yellow, slightly included, with a gold plate on the back. The smaller round yellow sapphires estimated to weigh a total of approximately 37.50 carats, are medium to medium light yellow, predominantly loupe clean to slightly included. The diamonds weighing approximately 2.60 carats, are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Clasp closes securely and is fitted with a safety clasp. Gross weight approximately 75 dwts. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1092814 stating that the oval-shaped yellow sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please note that the weight of the yellow sapphire is 100.62 carats, not 70.00 carats, as previously stated in the printed catalogue.
