描述

Centered on a marquise-shaped diamond within a frame of calibré-cut emeralds, the slightly tapered band further set with variously-cut diamonds and calibré-cut emeralds, length 7 inches; circa 1920s, one emerald missing.

Condition

In good condition with minor surface wear to the mounting commensurate with age, one link with evidence of repair apparent upon close inspection, and one emerald missing. Mounting tests as platinum. The marquise-shaped diamond, estimated to weigh approximately 0.95 carat, is approximately H-I color, SI clarity. The remaining diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.00 carats, are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity with some SI examples. The emeralds are medium slightly bluish green, slightly to moderately included, some with surface-reaching inclusions, and some abrasions visible under close inspection. Gross weight approximately 18 dwts. The clasp is fitted with a safety closure and closes securely. Widest width approximately ⅜ inch.
