PAIR OF NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND EARRINGS

The button-shaped natural pearls measuring approximately 10.7 x 8.1 mm and 10.4 x 8.4 mm, suspended from old mine-cut diamonds, with Austro-Hungarian hallmarks; circa 1880.

In very good condition given the age of these earrings. Minor wear and discoloration to the gold not visible when worn. Austro-Hungarian assay mark for 14 karat gold. The two old mine-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.15 carat, are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. The button-shaped natural pearls are of ivory body color, with good skin and very good luster, a few minor blemishes visible under close inspection to the sides and reverse of pearls, not noticeable when worn. Fitted with curved post and hinged backings, for wear on pierced ears. Length approximately ⅝ inch. Accompanied by GIA report number 2193027007 stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater.
