Of bi-coloured design set with calibré-cut rubies and single-cut diamonds, signed Tiffany & Co. LITERATURE Cf.: John Loring, Tiffany Jewels, New York, 1999, pg. 186, for an illustration of a pair of brooches of similar design, dated 1938.

Condition

Reverse of each clip signed Tiffany & Co, stamped PLAT & GOLD 14K. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.40-0.60 carats. Rubies well matched for colour, good saturation, some with typical inclusions visible under magnification. Metal with some light tarnish and some scratches, but overall in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 27 grams, length of brooch approximately 32mm, clip fittings with good tension. For further information please contact the department on +44 (0)207 293 6409.
