Designed as a flower, the petals composed of elongated heart-shaped aquamarines and circular-cut rubies, the centre collet-set with a brilliant-cut diamond, the stem and leaf additionally set with single-cut diamonds.
Condition
Unsigned, incised inventory number 7429 to reverse. Aquamarines light blue, transparent, appearing clean under magnification, one slightly loose in mount. Rubies deep purplish-red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification. A small number of extremely minor chips to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated colour I-J, estimated to be VS quality on average, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50 - 0.60 carats. Very light scratches consistent with wear. Brooch fitting in good working order, closing securely. Overall in very good condition. Overall length approximately 46mm, flower diameter approximately 23mm. Gross weight approximately 10 grams.
