The front section set with circular-cut diamonds, the largest weighing approximately 1.40 carats, inside a double helix of single-cut diamonds supporting alternating circular-cut diamonds and variously cut rubies, to a link chain highlighted with circular-cut diamonds and step-cut rubies, length approximately 350mm, signed G. Petochi, partial Italian maker's mark.

Accompanied by CISGEM, report no. 8999, stating that the rubies are natural, origin opinion Myanmar (Burma), with no indications of heating. Total weight of rubies approximately 4.80 carats. Largest measuring from 5.80 x 7.00 x 4.25mm and smallest measuring approximately 2.50 x 2.53 x 1.94mm. Reverse signed B.Petochi, Roma. Diamonds bright and lively, mixed colour grades, clarities ranging from VS to I included. Central diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.75 carats, light brownish tint, I1 clarity. Estimated total weight of remaining diamonds approximately 3.50 - 4.50 carats. Rubies purplish-red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. Clasp closing securely. Overall in good condition.
