Designed as a floral and foliate wreath, set with cushion-shaped diamonds and suspending a later added drop-shaped natural pearl measuring approximately 13.75 x 10.00 x 9.55mm, with hinged pendant loop.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 68487, stating that the drop-shaped natural pearl measuring 13.75 x 10.00 x 9.55mm is natural, saltwater. Weighing approximately 8.564 carats (34.26 grains), light grey colour with purple and green overtones. Unsigned. Pearl of irregular shape, black body colour, pink and aubergine overtones, medium lustre, some light imperfections to surface, appear to be irregular underneath metal attachment. Pearl was originally attached to a tie pin. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.70-1.70 carats. Scratches, minor pits and dark discolouration visible commensurate with age and wear. Some yellow solder visible around pearl suspension. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 14.2 grams. Length approximately 58 x 32mm.
