RUBY AND DIAMOND RING

Set with an oval ruby weighing 6.02 carats, within a double surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, size M1/2.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 86944, dated 18th July 2016, stating that the ruby weighing 6.025 carats and measuring 12.19 x 10.23 x 5.30mm is of Burmese origin, with indications of heating, moderate residue in fissures. Ruby pinkish red, translucent with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some very minor chips to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.50-3.50 carats. Inside of shank stamped with 750 for 18 carat gold, some very minor scuffs to metal. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 9.5 grams.
