Designed as a parrot, set with cabochon emeralds, cabochon and fancy-shaped yellow sapphires, its wing applied with yellow, orange and red enamel, signed Boucheron, numbered, French assay marks and maker's marks.

Condition

Signed Boucheron, numbered P20935, OR 750 to reverse of brooch. Side and pin stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Pin additionally stamped with maker's marks. Enamel in good condition, minor surface scratches and chips. Emeralds mid green, inclusions visible under magnification. Yellow sapphires of medium saturation, appears clean. Gem stones with some surface wear. Scratches to metal surfaces. Brooch fitting close securely. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 22.7 grams.
