EMERALD AND DIAMOND BRACELET, 1910S COMPOSITE

Of geometric openwork design, millegrain-set with circular- and single-cut diamonds and step-cut emeralds, to a fancy link chain, length approximately 170mm.

Stamped 750 to clasp tongue. Emeralds light green, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, some very minor areas of chips and wear to facet edges, overall in good condition, central emerald measuring approximately 4.7 x 4.1 x 2.9mm, calculated to weigh approximately 0.35 carats. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00 - 1.50 carats. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. Plain links likely a later adaptation, side of one link slightly out of shape. Light scratches and areas of discolouration to metal consistent with wear. Clasp loose, but secure with safety catch. Gross weight approximately 11.4 grams. Overall in good condition.
