Set with an octagonal step-cut colour change sapphire weighing approximately 14.50 carats, to scrolled shoulders set with baguette diamonds, size L.

Condition

Accompanied by GCS report no. 79183-44, stating that the sapphire is natural colour-change, blue in daylight and purple in incandescent light, origin opinion Sri Lanka, with no indication of heating. Measuring approximately 13.2 x 12.0 x 8.7mm. Stamped Pt950 SC. Sapphire dark blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, a few are close to surface reaching, light surface scratches, rubbed facet edges and eye visible chips. Sapphire measuring approximately 13.2 x 12.0 x 8.7mm, estimated to weigh approximately 14.50 carats. Sapphire loose in its mount. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to metal surfaces. Ring shank not entirely round. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 7.5 grams.
