Wilde seeks assistance for his mother.  In this letter Wilde writes to John Stuart Blackie (1809–1905), Professor of Greek at Edinburgh University, on behalf of Lady Wilde: "I write to ask you to do my mother a great service. For the last seven years she has received nothing from the Irish property on which her small jointure is placed — and she has determined, as the widow of a man of letters, and as an author herself, to apply to the Royal Literary Fund. She would be very much gratified to have your name among the names of those who support her claims — and I enclose a copy of her memorial."

Not in The Complete Letters and presumably unpublished.
