These etchings quickly became the best known of Blake's designs. This quarto issue of the first edition also includes Blake's dedicatory poem to the Queen who heads the list of subscribers. The publisher's advertisement signed by Cromeck praises Schiavonetti for his execution of Blake's design and is followed by an appreciation of Blake's original designs by Henry Fuseli.
