But there was one thing I shd have liked to talk to you about..."), the second with thanks for "your charming books & yr kindly thoughts" on his removal from the Admiralty ("...My work will stand some knocking about, & I leave it in good hands..."), 2 pages, 8vo, Admiralty headed stationery, 18 December 1913 and 26 May 1915

Oliver Locker-Lampson, son of the poet and collector Frederick Locker-Lampson, was a Conservative MP from 1910 until 1945. He commanded an Armoured Car Squadron in the Royal Naval Air Service during World War I, which brought him into contact with Churchill at the Admiralty.
