Condition

EN : Good overall condition. The wood presents with a few minute dents and a few rare small chips, consistent with age and use. The oak presents with some darker stains and a few cracks, consistent with the aging of the material. The bottom of one foot presents with a previously restored break and the tip of one crook presents with two previously breaks/cracks. The seat has been respectfully re-upholstered and is in good overall condition. ////FR : Bon état général. Le bois présente de petits enfoncements et de rares petits éclats, cohérents avec l’âge et l’utilisation. Le chêne présente quelques taches sombres et de rares fissures, cohérentes avec le vieillissement de ce matériau. L’extrémité d’un pied présente une cassure précédemment restaurée et l’extrémité d’une crosse présente deux cassures/fissures précédemment restaurées. Le siège a été respectueusement re-garni et est en bon état.
