Condition
Very good overall condition. The painted wood presents with very few hairline cracks, a few minute dents and some rare very tiny chips, mostly concentrated along the edges. Some minute chips/dents have been previously repainted.

The present lot is unique due to its lacquered wood elements and its distinct colour palette, which pays homage to the Bauhaus and De Stijl movements.
The edition in white lacquer and rosewood or walnut was a tribute specifically to Theo Van Doesburg. Scale models exhibited at the 1923 De Stijl exhibition at the Effort Moderne gallery in Paris were certainly a source of inspiration for Claudio Salocchi. The present lot is one of his most iconic works.
This lot is sold with a certificate from Mr Claudio Salocchi.
